Surprise

As I walked into the gym

The buzzing sound started growing

The sound of the timer

It signaled more shooting


There’s more to me than

Defense and passing

3 pointers and lay-ups

There’s more im practicing


 I challenge you to let me shoot

Minus the defense

All you’ll hear will be swoosh

I’ve been practicing and I’m getting

Better on offense

But, there’s more to come
